Writing isn't boring
How come that people who have no idea how to write "anything" call a piece of art (not mine of course) such as....Let's say: "les caracteres" (la bruyere) or " le chemin le moins frequente" (scott peck) : BORING.
Well, yes since they believe writing is boring, then writers are boring and their pieces of arts are BORING!
Let me define the word BORING for you: BORING is something not interesting!

This is an example of someone who has no idea how to write something or simply WRITE!!
This is what I call: BORING and NOT INTERESTING!
You know,In order to perform anything, we need an audience...As a writer, we need a reader.
I believe it's pretty fascinating that a kid who never tasted vegetables find it disgusting...Because it's the same thing with people who don't read at all and find writing boring as hell!
Since you never tried to read something or even write something in your own style, I don't think you'll never taste the pleasure of expressing your deep ideas without feeling embarrassed by an audience staring at you or feeling anxious of what people may think about you!
Writing can be public and open to the whole world or secret and private.
You still can talk in public but talking to yourself is ..."weird"!!!^^'
Anyway, I wish you'll enjoy one day taking a pen in your hands and having the ability to touch or upset someone by your words!May be you'll not see the expression in his/her face, since you're just writing but you'll certainly feel that he/she got emotional by you!!!!!!!!!!
